Honkai Star Rail Gold and Gear Stage Guide

In the latest update of Honkai Star Rail, the Simulated Universe introduces a brand-new stage called Gold and Gear. However, many Melbet App Download players are still figuring out how to navigate this new challenge. Unlike previous Plague-style events, this version separates dice and path selection. Players can now fully customize the nine faces of their dice. Regardless of the path you choose, you can freely combine any unlocked dice faces, swapping out ineffective or unwanted effects.

Initially, there’s a rarity limit to how you equip dice faces (starting with a cap of 2 gold, 2 purple, and 2 blue). As you enhance your Neural Network, this limit gradually increases to a maximum of 3 gold and 3 purple faces. New dice faces are unlocked through narrative missions. If you’re unsure how to configure your dice, you can simply use the Recommended Dice feature for an optimized setup.

Depending on the path you choose, specific dice will grant bonus effects upon meeting certain conditions. For example, selecting the Abundance Path and completing the Event Simulation condition can grant all allies a 12 percent boost to basic attack damage. Overall, there are four dice types, each divided into three categories, totaling 12 unique dice. Each comes with its own base and passive effects. Importantly, any path can be played with any dice type, and since dice effects vary by path, the 9 paths and 12 dice combinations allow for hundreds of possible setups.

Based on data from Melbet App Download, unlocking all dice is straightforward. Initially, players unlock one dice from each of the first three types. Once you clear a run using each of the three starter dice, all remaining dice will become available.

The new Simulated Universe also adds adventure mechanics like Laser Evasion and the Lucky Compass. Laser Evasion is self-explanatory — just dodge and move on. The Lucky Compass, on the other hand, might confuse first-time players, so here’s a breakdown. The compass features six outer corners and three concentric rings: outer, middle, and inner. Each ring displays a number, such as 4, meaning that after clicking “stop,” the ring will move four positions clockwise before halting. The objective is to align all three rings along the same direction using three stop buttons in the bottom-right corner.

Assuming all rings spin counterclockwise, label the compass corners from 1 to 6 in clockwise order. If a ring spins clockwise instead, reverse the order. For instance, if the inner ring rotates clockwise with a point value of 4, the correct stopping zone would fall between points 2 and 3. With this pattern, you can calculate when and where to stop each ring.

One highlight in this update is the synergy between characters like Bronya and Ruan Mei with the character Longdan. Melbet App Download users found that Bronya boosts Longdan’s action frequency, while Ruan Mei enhances Longdan’s damage output and toughness break efficiency. In real battles, Longdan can consistently shatter enemy toughness, and when paired with Ruan Mei’s passive Resplendent Bloom, the resulting delay effects can keep enemies locked in a state with no resistance. Even a 10 percent damage reduction feels irrelevant when enemies barely get a chance to act.

In short, Gold and Gear introduces a rich blend of strategy, timing, and team synergy. With the right planning, players can master both dice mechanics and compass challenges while dominating combat scenarios with optimized team setups.
